Southwest General's Breast Center focuses on breast health by offering education, screening and diagnosis and treatment services. The Center has been designed with our patients' comfort and privacy in mind.
We understand that the diagnosis of breast cancer can result in tremendous stress, anxiety and confusion for both the individual diagnosed and for the family members. We believe that providing the best health care possible must include assisting those diagnosed with breast cancer and their families through the multitude of decisions that must be made.
Southwest General offers a comprehensive approach to breast care. The comprehensive team of breast cancer specialists—including medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pharmacists, nurses and researchers—is committed to serving the needs of our breast cancer patients.
We focus on making it as convenient and comfortable as possible for women to seek preventive care for their optimal breast health. Additionally, we provide a safe haven for those who face a diagnosis of cancer or other breast concerns, so that they may explore options in order to feel empowered in their treatment decisions and recovery.
