Home Health Services of Southwest General provides individualized, quality health care in the privacy of the home setting for homebound patients. Services are available by physician referral for patients who are temporarily homebound to recover from a recent illness or injury, or permanently homebound because of an ongoing illness or disability. Federal law gives a patient the right to select his/her own homecare provider(s).
Home Health provides the following services to the community:
• Emergency Response System (ERS)
• Home infusion therapy
• Nursing and nursing aide services
• Occupational therapy
• Physical therapy
• Social services
• Speech therapy
Home Infusion services also are provided for patients who need ongoing intravenous therapies.
