Treatment Methods and Services
Pediatric Rehabilitation therapists use a variety of treatment methods including:

Speech and Language Therapy - Comprehensive services for a variety of communication disorders, including delayed speech or language, voice problems and stuttering. Also addresses swallowing problems resulting from neurologic impairment or developmental delays.

Occupational Therapy - Develops range of motion, strength, coordination, play and self-care skills needed to face daily challenges with confidence and success. Focuses on therapeutic activities and adaptation of the environment to help each child reach his or her potential.

Physical Therapy - Addresses issues interfering with the development of functional movement patterns. These issues may be orthopedic in nature, involve balance and coordination issues or stem from a neurological impairment. Helps children gain motor skills, control, and strength to access and be safe in their environment.
