We Improve Senior Health (WISH) is an innovative program designed to enhance the care of our older adult patients. Evolving from a national initiative from the John A. Hartford Institute of Geriatric Nursing, New York University, our WISH. Program includes ALL members of our health care team who are involved in the direct care of our elderly patients.
The WISH Program consists of physicans, nurses, therapists, dietitians, patient care assistants and support staff who are passionate about caring for our elderly patients and eager to ensure that Southwest General is a center of excellence for geriatric care. The goal of the WISH Program is to provide the best geriatric care, by expert clinicians, coupled with an elder-friendly environment.
