Medication Disposal Program

Medication Disposal Program
A safe way to dispose of unused medications

Southwest General’s Medication Disposal Program was designed to help residents in the following communities safely dispose of unused medications, including narcotics but excluding sharps and aerosols:

  • Berea
  • Brook Park
  • Columbia Township
  • Middleburg Heights
  • Olmsted Falls
  • Strongsville
  • Brunswick

Southwest General is one of the few health care facilities to offer this free service, which plays an important role in preventing medications from entering the environment and/or falling into the wrong hands.

To learn more about the Medication Disposal program at Southwest General, call Chief Tristan Harker, Protection Services, at 440-816-4060.
