Light the Night to Honor a Life

Luminaries

Friday, December 16, 2016 to Sunday, January 1, 2017

For the sixth consecutive year, Hospice Services of Southwest General will hold its annual “Light the Night to Honor a Life” event, with luminaria glowing at The Thomas P. Perciak Residential Hospice in Strongsville. Every sponsored luminaria may be customized with a personal message, and will serve as a loving tribute to a special friend or loved one.

All proceeds from “Light the Night to Honor a Life” benefit the Dennis C. Simmerman Community Care Fund. Founded in 2008, the Simmerman Fund provides critical financial and care-related services to hospice patients and families of limited means. In addition to financial assistance for residential hospice care, the fund provides support for services such as in-home caretakers, transportation of family members for visitation and help with medication.     

Luminaria are available at three levels – gold luminaria for $50, silver luminaria for $25 and white luminaria for $10. Each luminaria is a hard plastic reusable lantern which you may pick up on the last day of the event if you so choose.  All luminaria will be placed in alphabetical order (by last name of purchaser) for the convenience of our donating families and businesses.
