Outpatient Clinics

Clinics that provide specialized services for area residents

At Southwest General, we have a number of outpatient clinics that have been developed to address very specific needs and to help our patients lead healthier lives.

Clinics Focused on Specific Health Care Needs

Are you:
Wanting to improve your heart health? Taking blood-thinning medication? Looking to stop smoking? Concerned about memory function? Coughing all the time? Having difficulty breathing? Concerned about travel-related health issues?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, we have a clinic that can provide you with healthy and sometimes life-saving information. These clinics, centers and programs include:

  • Coumadin Clinic. To help make sure that patients use Coumadin safely and receive optimum benefits from the drug.
  • Diabetic Rehabilitation and Education. To educate patients so that they can understand the nature of their disease and the actions they can take to manage their conditions.
  • Grey Matters! Stroke Prevention Program. Educates those aged 18 and older about stroke prevention and brain health through health risk assessments, laboratory testing, screening and a one-on-one consultation for a one-time, $60 out-of-pocket fee.
  • Healthy Heart for Him/Her. A fee-for-service screening for men and women, aged 18 and older, interested in improving their heart health as a way to improve their overall fitness.
  • Lung Nodule Center. To diagnose lung nodules as early in the disease process as possible for improved outcomes.
  • Memory Clinic. For memory assessments and evaluations to confirm memory impairment and speed early treatment.
  • Pulmonary Hypertension Center. To determine if symptoms such as dizziness, shortness of breath, fatigue and more may indicate a diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension (PH).
  • Tobacco Cessation Clinic. For direction and help in quitting the use of tobacco.
  • Wound Center. To provide special care for wounds that can be slow to heal or that are resistant to conventional treatment.
