Van Transportation Program
For those who are unable to provide their own transportation to and from Southwest General medical facilities, the hospital offers convenient curb-to-curb transportation service, which is available to residents from Southwest General's primary service area, including:

Valet Parking Service
Those needing to drop off patients at the Emergency Room (ER) entrance and accompany them into the hospital can have Protection Services (Security) officers park their vehicle for them. The car will be parked in the ER parking lot or an adjacent visitor lot. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Southwest General also offers other patients and visitors a valet parking service. The service is operated by ParkMed, a company that specializes in valet parking for health care facilities. The service is offered Monday through Friday at the following locations:
Buildings A & B: (Outpatient Services entrance) 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Building C (south entrance): 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The fee for valet service is $3 per car and $2 for anyone with a handicap placard; no charge for any ER patients or expectant mothers. For more information, call Southwest General’s Protection Services Department at
