Breast Nurse Navigator

Breast Nurse Navigator

Our Cleveland breast health specialist, or breast nurse navigator, is dedicated to helping you navigate through all of your breast health needs.

The breast health issues, needs and concerns facing a woman with breast disease can be challenging to navigate alone. That’s why the Breast Center at Southwest General offers breast nurse navigator services. Our breast nurse navigator is here to help patients in need of assistance and guidance with compassionate care.

A Personal, Confidential and Caring Resource For Your Breast Health Issues and Needs

A member of the Breast Center team, our specially trained breast nurse navigator works with patients to meet a wide variety of needs. This includes helping women understand and access the care they need for the best possible outcomes. Some of the services our breast nurse navigator offers include:

  • Providing emotional support to patients and families as they cope with breast health issues
  • Educating patients and families about breast disease
  • Facilitating patient compliance with physician recommendations by verifying that patients understand their diagnosis, the course of treatment and the importance of complying with treatment recommendations
  • Providing advice and counsel on important decisions regarding treatment
  • Coordinating the various phases of a patient treatment from diagnosis through recovery

We Look Forward to Helping You
