During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Southwest General is continuing to provide safe, quality care for the communities we serve. We are following all current guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and prevention (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) to keep both patients and staff safe so that we can provide the quality care and attention you need. We encourage you not to delay seeking the care you need to maintain your health and wellness.
Following is an update on service access at Southwest General:
The Southwest General Emergency Rooms on our Main Campus and at the Brunswick Medical Center are open, safe and ready to care for you. We encourage you to seek care immediately if you have a medical emergency. For serious injuries or urgent symptoms, such as chest pain, difficulty breathing or signs of a stroke, call 911 immediately or go to the emergency room. Don’t delay, as waiting to seek care can be life-threatening or cause permanent damage to your health.
Our Southwest General Medical Group (SGMG) physicians are seeing patients in person and via telehealth (video visits and telephone visits). We encourage you to make an appointment with your physician for the care you need to maintain your health and wellness. If you have medical questions or concerns or if you need preventive care, such as a mammogram or immunizations, contact your physician’s office today for an appointment, or call our Health Connection at 440-816-5050 for a physician referral.
