Light the Night to Honor a Life

December 11, 2020 to January 7, 2021

Luminaria

For the tenth consecutive year, Hospice Services of Southwest General will hold its annual “Light the Night to Honor a Life” event, with luminarias and trees glowing at The Thomas P. Perciak Residential Hospice in Strongsville. Every sponsored luminaria and tree may be customized with a personal message, and will serve as a loving tribute to a special friend or loved one.

All proceeds from “Light the Night to Honor a Life” benefit the Dennis C. Simmerman Community Care Fund. Founded in 2008, the Simmerman Fund provides critical financial and care-related services to hospice patients and families of limited means. In addition to financial assistance for residential hospice care, the fund provides support for services such as in-home caretakers, transportation of family members for visitation and help with medication.

For the safety and health of our community, we will not be holding a lighting ceremony this year. You are welcome to visit on your own at any time between Dec. 11 and Jan. 7.

Thank you for your understanding and generous support.

Luminarias and trees are available at the following donation levels – gold luminaria for $50, silver luminaria for $25 and white luminaria for$10; limited quantity of small trees for $150 and large trees for $300.

To sponsor a luminaria or tree today and make an important difference in our community, please call the Southwest Community Health Foundation at 440-816-5702 or DONATE ONLINE HERE.
