Onboarding
When we identify you as a top performer and extend an offer of employment,
upon acceptance, we roll out the red carpet to onboard you to Southwest.
Our goal is to ensure that your first experience with us creates a smooth
transition to your new role. It is important to us to provide you with
the tools necessary to guarantee your success. Our onboarding process includes:
- Urine drug screen test within 72 hours of accepting an offer of employment
- Pre-placement physical with our Employee Occupational Health department
to get cleared to start
- One-on-one appointment with a Human Resources Representative to review
on-boarding documents completed online and to prepare you for your first day
- Fingerprinting and background check
- Red Carpet Orientation to introduce you to Southwest General’s mission,
vision and values
- Scheduled 30 and 90-day meetings with your manager to ensure a successful
completion of the “Introductory Period” (first 90 days of
employment)
Soon after you will begin making significant contributions to our team
and to the patients we serve.
