Ways to Help
Community residents making a difference
At Southwest General, we are continually grateful for the numbers of community
residents who continue to help us make a difference in serving those needing
Hospice Care. We could not do it without their generous and selfless support.
If you have the time or the resources, we graciously ask for any help
you can provide to help us help others as their lives draw to a close.
Our Hospice volunteers help us provide a breadth of needed and essential
hospice services that, without their help, would be impossible to provide.
Without them the breadth of hospice services we offer could never meet
the growing need for the services we face each day. Our volunteers make
this possible. Areas where we need volunteers include:
- Patient care
- Greeting and welcoming visitors
- Office functions
- Community outreach
Donations and Wish List
The donations we receive from our community truly do help make a difference.
Without their generosity to help offset the cost of care and to maintain
our facilities, we would find it increasingly difficult to provide the
level of hospice care we presently do and to accommodate future needs.
If you would like to make a donation, here are some of the Hospice areas
and funds that would benefit from your support:
The Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice. Our onsite residential hospice facility for those needing extra care
Community Care Fund in Memory of Dennis C. Simmerman Hospice. To help those lacking the financial resources for Hospice care
Nurse Education Fund. For continuing nurse education for the latest in Hospice care
General Fund. For the overall needs of our Hospice services
Giving Methods. Donations, Employer Matching Gift Programs, Memorials, and Estate Giving
Wish List. For those who want to help our Hospice Services by purchasing something
we’ve noted on our wish list
