State-of-the-Art Neurological Care
Skilled neurosurgeons on Southwest General’s Medical Staff use advanced
technology and techniques to perform
minimally invasive surgeries. Minimally invasive procedures use smaller incisions—in most cases
only about an inch—which helps to reduce damage to sensitive tissues,
lessen pain and scarring, shorten hospital stays and speed recovery. Minimally
invasive surgery may be used to treat a variety of spinal conditions,
including degenerative disc conditions, herniated discs in the back or
neck, fractures, spinal stenosis and others.
