Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is designed for Advanced healthcare providers. Those who are taking PALS for the first time or whose certification has expired must take the two day Provider Course. Those with a current PALS card may take the Renewal Course. This course follows the most current American Heart Association standards in pediatric cardiovascular care and resuscitation. A Basic EKG course is strongly recommended prior to taking this course as EKG interpretation is not taught during this class. Proof of current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required prior to taking this course. All participants MUST come to class with a current BLS card, a printed pretest and a PALS Provider Manual.
