Maintain a Healthy Aging Brain
About This Event
Dementia cannot be prevented or cured, but evidence shows choosing a ‘brain healthy’ lifestyle leads to reduced risk of dementia. Living a brain healthy lifestyle is particularly important once you reach middle age, as this is when changes in the brain start to occur. These changes may start decades before symptoms appear. Join Rachel Hazelwood, MA CCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist at Southwest General Healthcare Center as she discusses how you can live a brain-healthy lifestyle.
It’s never too late - or too early - as brain function can be improved at any age!
