Middleburg Heights, OH (Aug. 15, 2013) – Southwest General is pleased to welcome Dr. Francoise Adan, medical
director of the Connor Integrative Medicine Network, and staff, to the
Strongsville Medical Center (18181 Pearl Rd. Strongville, OH 44136).
Through Southwest General’s partnership with University Hospitals,
this unique integrative medicine approach centers on both the prevention
and minimization of disease and the promotion and optimization of well-being.
Additionally, it seeks to support and enhance the patient’s own
innate healing abilities and affirms the vital importance of the provider/patient/client
relationship.
Accompanying Dr. Adan—who works with patients suffering from mild
depression and anxiety— to the Strongsville facility is licensed
massage therapist, Jane Smith, and licensed acupuncturist, Ted Gannon.
The massage therapist will offer patients a range of massage services
stemming from deep tissue to relaxation to pregnancy. The licensed acupuncturist
will provide acupuncture services as a way to reduce stress and tension,
alleviate chronic and acute pain, increase energy, enhance immunity and
promote deep relaxation.
