Light the Night to Honor a Life
December 15, 2017 to January 1, 2018
For the seventh consecutive year, Hospice Services of Southwest General
will hold its annual “Light the Night to Honor a Life” event,
with luminaria glowing at The Thomas P. Perciak Residential Hospice in
Strongsville. Every sponsored luminaria may be customized with a personal
message, and will serve as a loving tribute to a special friend or loved one.
All proceeds from “Light the Night to Honor a Life” benefit
the Dennis C. Simmerman Community Care Fund. Founded in 2008, the Simmerman
Fund provides critical financial and care-related services to hospice
patients and families of limited means. In addition to financial assistance
for residential hospice care, the fund provides support for services such
as in-home caretakers, transportation of family members for visitation
and help with medication.
Luminaria are available at three levels –
gold luminaria for $50, silver luminaria for $25 and white luminaria for $10. Each luminaria is a hard plastic reusable lantern which you may pick
up on the last day of the event if you so choose.
