Southwest General Medical Group, Inc. – Pain Management specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of pain. This includes
both acute and chronic pain from a variety of illnesses or injuries, such
as cancer, surgery, metabolic disorders, immune system disorders, musculoskeletal
disorders, nerve damage and more.
Using their skill and experience, our physicians provide a broad range
of treatments to minimize pain, improve function and enhance a person’s
quality of life. Treatment techniques may range from use of appropriate
medications to nerve blocks, spinal injections and other interventional
procedures. Additionally, we support a multidisciplinary approach to care
and can coordinate other services as needed--such as physical and psychological
therapy--to provide a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan for patients.

with the answering service to have the physician paged. The doctor will
return your call as soon as possible.
If you have an emergency, please go to the closest Emergency Room or call 911!
To schedule an appointment, call the office at
440-816-2850. We require 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule an appointment
so that we can use the time to accommodate other patients. There is a
$25 no-show fee. Exclusions are given for urgent matters.
New patients who are visiting our office for the first time should bring
all their current medication bottles.
Dr Ryan works off of a physician referral basis and we require all diagnostic
testing, office notes and written referral be sent to the office before
making an appointment.

All patients are asked to read our
Prescriptions and Refills
If you need to renew a prescription, you or your pharmacist may call our
office. We request 24-48 hours notice for prescription refills so that
we can be sure to accommodate the needs of our patients. Prescriptions
will not be filled same day or on Fridays.
The following information is needed to process your prescription renewal request:
- Name of medication
- Strength of medication
- How often medication is to be taken
- Quantity need (30 day or 90 day)
- Date on which the prescription was last filled
- Pharmacy phone number
- Pharmacy fax number (if the prescription needs to be faxed to the pharmacy)
- Phone number where the patient can be reached, in case we need to contact
the patient that day
Once your physician has received and reviewed your test results, we will
contact you by phone with the results using our Secure Reach message system.
Our goal is to get test results to you within one week after your physician
has signed off on them. If you have questions about your test results,
please contact our office.
