MXM Honors LifeWorks of Southwest General as a 2022 Location of Excellence Winner
Middleburg Heights, OH (Friday, Feb. 3, 2023) – LifeWorks of Southwest General, the hospital’s premier health and fitness center, has been named a winner in the fourth annual MXM Locations of Excellence Awards. This recognition is a testament to LifeWorks’ ability to gather and act on member feedback and be a leader in providing exceptional member experience.
“Fitness facilities have been under enormous strain the past few years,” said Karen Raisch-Siegel, executive director, LifeWorks of Southwest General. “Creating thorough cleaning and safety protocols, keeping clubs staffed appropriately and providing an exceptional customer experience has been more important than ever to gaining member loyalty and satisfaction. As standards and expectations have been raised, so have the challenges fitness facilities face in meeting them.”
Facilities recognized as an MXM Location of Excellence set themselves apart from other fitness facilities and have seen success because of their innovation and commitment to gaining and evaluating feedback in an effort to provide an optimal experience for their members.
Winners are selected based upon two criteria:
- They must have at least 240 valid member feedback responses for the last six months of the 2022 calendar year.
- They must achieve an average score of nine in four required categories and one flex category.
The required categories are:
- Front desk staff friendliness
- Overall staff friendliness
- Gym/club cleanliness
- Likelihood to recommend
The flex categories are:
- Equipment condition
- Locker room/showers
- Staff assistance
- Group exercise/fitness classes
- Personal training services
