Parking & Arrival

With convenience and security in mind.

Valet Parking, Community Transportation and Emergency Drop-Off are part of Southwest General’s commitment to helping patients get to and receive their care with convenience and security.

Community Transportation Program

For those who are unable to provide their own transportation to and from Southwest General medical facilities, the hospital offers convenient curb-to-curb transportation service, which is available to residents from the following cities:

  • Berea
  • Brook Park
  • Brunswick
  • Columbia Township
  • Middleburg Heights
  • North Royalton
  • Olmsted Falls
  • Olmsted Township
  • Strongsville

Schedulers are available to take trip requests Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 440-816-4046 or email CommunityTransportation@swgeneral.com

Valet Parking Service

Southwest General also offers other patients and visitors a valet parking service. The service is operated by ParkMed, a company that specializes in valet parking for health care facilities. The service is offered Monday through Friday at the following locations:

  • Buildings A & B: (Outpatient Services entrance) 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Building C (south entrance): 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The fee for valet service is $3 per car and $2 for anyone with a handicap placard; no charge for any ER patients or expectant mothers. For more information, call Southwest General’s Police Department at 440-816-8884.

Emergency Room Drop-Off

Those needing to drop off patients at the Emergency Room (ER) and accompany them into the hospital can obtain assistance from Police Department at the ER entrance.

Protection Services Officers will park cars either in the ER parking lot or at an adjacent visitor lot. Service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
