During your medical care, you may require lab work for screening purposes
or to assist your physician in diagnosing and treating your medical condition.
Our clinical laboratory offers a full spectrum of services and is accredited
by the College of American Pathologists and the American Association of
Blood Banks (AABB). This means that our lab has met the rigorous performance
standards established by both organizations, validating the high-quality
services we provide.
Our clinical lab offers comprehensive services for rapid and accurate diagnosis:
- Blood bank
Our anatomic pathology services are provided exclusively by board-certified
pathologists who offer a complete spectrum of diagnostic pathology consultations.
Southwest General Health Center has several convenient and accessible locations
for laboratory testing for residents of Lorain County, northern Medina
County and southwestern Cuyahoga County:
Brunswick Medical Center:

Monday to Thursday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday
8 a.m. to noon
Outpatient Center (Main Campus):
Southwest General, Building B, 1st Floor
Monday to Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
Saturday 7:30 a.m. to noon
This location also provides routine X-rays and electrocardiograms (EKGs).
Strongsville Medical Center:

Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. to noon
Time Share Suite:
Southwest General, Building C (Schurmeier Pavilion), Ste. 302
